Record and Barcode Agreement

This agreement is between CCM Records and (Your name). 

Unlike most contracts between a record company and a
 band or individual which severly restrict the artist with
 what they can do with their own music after the 
contract is signed, CCM Records has no such 
requirements. This is not a contract, this is an agreement.

CCM Records does not:
A. Provide an attorney in case of a lawsuit.
B. Provide recording services.
C. Manufacture your products. The artist is responsible for making their own copies of their albums.
D. We do not take any percentage of profits or revenues gained by selling of your material.
E. Keep track of sales.
F. Guarantee you can sell your music.
G. Require personal information other than the means to accept your payment for our services.
H. Prevent you from signing a recording contract with another record label.
I. Require the artists to tour.
J. Require reports of any kind.
K. Enter you into any contests.
L. Own the copyright on any of your songs or videos.

CCM Records services include:
A. Providing a barcode for your album.
B. Providing an image file which is a barcode jpg or tiff file
containing the barcode number, your band name, along with the words: "Distributed by CCM Records or www.ccmrecords.com"
C. Entering your barcode information into the Nielsen Soundscan database.

We do require that the artist(s):
A. Use the barcode provided for only one album release, making as many copies as needed. 
B. Not use the barcode for a separate artist or album.
C. Agree to the following statement:

 "I the artist state that this album has no sexually offensive,
abusive or anti-Christian lyrics or content. 
 I will use each barcode for one album or project only. I understand CCM 
Records services are simple and limited to the lettered list above. 
I agree that I will not pursue any legal action or sue in a court
 of law CCM Records for any reason. CCM Records or its managment are 
not responsible for the content of the album, music or lyrics recorded
and/or printed by myself the artist. Any copyright infringement is sole 
responsibility of me the artist."
